paradise for managers

Pros

working place is good, culture is positive.

Cons

There must be paradise for managers. The manager doesn't need to worry about manager assessments. He didn't get trouble even taking the lowest scores in company. Instead of improvement, he prefers to wait for higher scores after disappointed employees resigned. He didn't care what employee needs, and rejected my relocation request. He often enjoyed taking long speeches in meetings (probably reciting contents from management textbooks), that was a way to prove his existence.

Pros

Pros: Slightly above market rate, decent benefits, hard to get fired from, great place to sit and do nothing for 8 hours a day, WFH whenever.

Cons

It's not a tech company, but an HR company. Very slow moving job. You will be asking your manager for more work constantly and be given either nothing or useless backlog tickets. They're a Microsoft shop. The culture is non-existent. Everyone eats their desks doing work. If you want to make changes or give feedback or suggest improvements in anyway, you'll most likely get shot down unless you're a 'somebody' in the company. Would not recommend unless you're over the age of 40 and want a cushy, slow moving, job.

Pros

Friendly and open atmosphere. In addition to being a growing, successful company, it's also a fun place to work.

Cons

Work life/ balance, long working hours
