Pros
Wonderful coworkers, comprehensive training when you start
Cons
Favoritism determines raises, promotions, and if you’ll keep your job. They are determined to fire at will for the smallest things, and single out employees who dare to speak up. There is no safe space to talk at work and you are constantly surveilled for HIPPAA (even though many people are on the chat and text line). Slow follow through for implementing any kind of positive change, no real employee appreciate, no allowances for mothers who need to breastfeed, low chance of a raise, and very clique-ish, mean girl energy from salaried workers who are not on the line with the counselors. Toxic environment all around and no conducive to success in this line of work — there is no trust in the slightest and you can feel it even remotely.
