      The students are the best part of the job.

      Pros

      Co-workers are great. College cares about the students... always trying something different. Some staff go out of their way for students. Director seams to care.

      Cons

      The beginning of the semester can be a challenge, Low pay. Taken for granted... not given the support needed to complete the job. Not happy about using annual time during Christmas and Mardi Gras break.

      Delgado's employees work very hard for the students

      Pros

      Great co-workers, Administration can be open to suggestions. Most departments work hard for the students. The programs are great and the College is big on Professional Development.

      Cons

      Heavy workload --can make life stressful at times. The main issue with Delgado is communication between the departments. Wonderful programs are going forward, however, the information is not always shared with departments and divisions.
