      Pros

      Good education when you actually try to listen to your teachers

      Cons

      Some teachers are not teaching and you have to be careful to how you go about prosecuting them. I suggest recording their lectures for your sake. Try to make things right with your teacher first. (record that too!) Then bring matters to the Dean, and then Dean of Social Affairs

      Low pay for faculty and 'social promotion' culture for students

      Benefits are OK. Relative security, unless teaching as an adjunct.

      Cons

      Very low pay for faculty; no Cost of Living pay adjustment. High salaries for administration however. Micromanagement. Overloader administrative bureaucratic structure with too many 'layers' and redundant positions. Culture of nepotism and underachievement. Students are expected to be 'passed' without having to demonstrate College level performance. Very depressing and frustrating for those who actually teach.
