People are hired into roles that they are either too senior for or has no experience in that kind of role at all. It is a super competitive, crabs in a barrel environment and that is due to it being the kind of company where benefits and compensation are directly tied to growth and promotions. So everyone is competing against each other to get to the next level which creates a hostile environment to work in. What you are hired to do when you start with the company will absolutely without a doubt change, whether you want it to or not. Leadership will tell you that they care about what you want in your career but at the end of the day your role/job will change with no discussion or clear direction to help you transition, thus setting you up for failure.

The so called "Travel Benefits" are a joke, you are told that you can get on a flight so long that there are empty seats, but when there are empty seats you are told that the flight is weight load optimized. Then they deny you boarding. The company is pushing to get all employees to purchase tickets. If you try really hard, it makes no difference. I have "won" a perfect attendance award with an S2B pass that I was told would work wonders for me non-reving. This S2B pass was useless and did nothing for me, other than get me scolded in front of other passengers by another Air line flight attendant. The pay is not great, but you are not allowed to complain, only Pilots are allowed to protest. Even when they are the better paid employees. If you are stuck working weekends, good luck, you will be stuck there for a long time. You are made to work through holidays. They "give " you floating holidays but they have to approve you to take your hard earned holiday. There is NO Work/Life Balance. You are expected to work like a slave through every single weekend if they want and every single holiday. And yet again the pay sucks.
