These are essential aspects of our commitment to providing a supportive work environment. Pros

Cool product, good benefits, fun people.

Cons

Don't try for a promotion if you're a woman. You will be passed over multiple times for men who have less experience and qualifications than you. Also, don’t ever expect a raise. Ever.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. If you have experienced anything that suggests there is gender discrimination taking place in our selection process, I plead with you to talk to Human Resources. You can connect with anyone you feel most comfortable with, including our Chief People Officer. If you are not comfortable with that for any reason, please talk to any member of leadership, up to and including the CEO. We need to know about these things in order to address them. We would also like to take this opportunity to share transparently some facts about the concerns you referenced: 34% of our managers/supervisors and above are females 27% of our directors and above are females 33% of our executive team are females (For context, about 40% of our total workforce are female and 60% are male) In terms of pay increases, so far in 2023, 85% of our eligible employees earned base pay increases. Some of these are even multiple increases to the same person because they received a merit increase and later a job change with pay increase. The average increase across these is 7%. If by chance, you are an Account Executive in Outside Sales, we have a base salary plus an uncapped commission plan. Therefore, those roles are not eligible to receive annual increases to base salary. However, we review our compensation strategy regularly and have made adjustments to the base salary based on geography for example. We offer all employees professional development to ensure high performance in current roles as well as develop new skills. Thank you for being part of Team Delta Defense. Please review your Individual Development Plan with your manager. A template and other resources are available to help you.

Pros

Great job in the supporting the 2A

Cons

They do not give out merit increases or cost of living raises. Going on over 4 years and no raise or any type of increase. Turn over is high with Account Executives.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We hope some of your questions were answered recently, at our company wide meeting. Our Chief People Officer, discussed our total rewards compensation philosophy and what pay markets we use to set salary ranges based on the market. For Delta Defense, our strategy is to pay market competitive base salaries, with variable pay programs (commissions or bonus) that puts total direct compensation at the top of the market or even above when the company is performing well. Our strategy is to also provide a holistic benefits package that supports the physical, mental and financial wellness of our employees. We absolutely do provide merit increases at Delta Defense. Yes, your role as an Account Executive has a set base salary that does not receive annual merit increases. This is because this role has an uncapped commission plan which provides the pay for performance additional earning opportunities for Account Executives. We review the set base pay amount annually for alignment with the market of the geographic area the position is located in. In fact, the base salaries for Account Executives were adjusted upward in several markets for 2022 based on the previous analysis. We hope you were happy to hear during this recent presentation about the ways we are helping our employees offset the impact of inflation. Things like no decrease in the insurance benefits covered; only a 1% premium increase to medical coverage; no increases to dental or vision insurance; and an increase in 401K match. We also introduced new allowances for 2023 and a new service award bonus program. Thank you for being part of the Delta Defense Team!
