      Some truly amazing people that work there... Work from home, every other half friday off

      Where to begin....The culture is absolutely tanking. Former CEO Mike Corkery did a phenomenal job building back up the culture after 5 tough years under PE control. 14 years of truly establishing a top notch company, has been eroded in 2 years by the new CEO who has no personality whatsoever. You can tell he does not care at all about the employees and it is a puppet to Roper. 2 years of laying off some huge institutional knowledge with the company. Constant change with E team and E team members being laid off should tell you all you need to know. The products are dinosaurs and the trade winds are signaling Deltek is in trouble. Take a look at how Roper stock has tanked as well. Its a sad time for Deltek. Once job market improves, there will be a mass exodus.

      Pros

      The only pro I had a Deltek was my direct manager who they let go for no reason. Almost all of their decent leaders have left the company.

      Cons

      Commission structure designed to force you to make less and less each year despite over achieving, sales development is treated as part of sales when its convenient for the company but not part of sales when its not. Ie no PTO during black out days end of each quarter and not eligible for Club. You are treated just as a number on a line item budget and will be let go just as easily. They non compete clause is also barbaric if you wish to ever work in software sales again.

      A So and So Company to Work For

      Pros

      A recognizable name to have on a resume, especially in the software industry. Decent pay and benefits as well.

      Cons

      The company feels very boring. There is almost no interaction with employees. Everyone on my floor comes to their desks, don't talk to each other, and leave. Very few opportunities for all the departments to get together and to build the energy and the culture of the workplace.
