Pros

- Amazing people - Great culture - Best-in-class training - If you're entry-level and looking for your first SDR/BDR role, I can't recommend starting off with Demandbase enough; because you'll learn some very useful skills that will get you very far in tech sales - All of the SDR Managers are fun to be around, genuinely great people, and really care about you. - I made lifelong friends here, and most people who come on board do too.

Cons

- It's really hard to get promoted beyond SDR here, and that's not at the company's fault. - It's just an extremely competitive industry so Demandbase and most other companies in Martech hire seasoned vets for AE, CSM, and Account Manager roles (versus promoting an SDR's) - Far too many talented hardworkers got stuck as SDR's for 3 years here. - Which in a lot of ways, is worth it because the training and culture here is so good (best in class I'd say), but being an SDR for 3 years is a very serious backlog in your career and financial development. - Again, the managers are very amazing people and this problem is out of their control. At the drop of a hat, they will do everything in their power to help you succeed. - So if you're young, working here isn't a bad idea but you need to be able to afford the possibility of being an SDR for longer than what is usual.

Pros

I cannot say enough great things about my time at Demandbase as an SDR. The leadership and team culture were huge reasons I joined in the first place and why stayed for nearly two years. The training I received in this role for sales, critical thinking, creativity, and organizational skills have already served me well in my next role. They do a really great job providing you with the tools and resources to succeed in your this role and helping to prepare you for what you want to do next in your career path. I felt like leadership really cares about their SDRs on an individual level and demonstrated this by creating personalized coaching plans to help each SDR succeed.

Cons

None to report on at this time, leaving Demandbase for my current role was a very hard decision to make
