Pros
The team is amazing. Everyone is passionate about productivity and how the product can help people to achieve more in their life.
The company has significant perks for their employees and helps you to keep a work-life balance. Doist recommends the employees to work smarter and make their 8 hours as productive as possible instead of working overtime.
All coding decisions are taken as a team, and all opinions are taken into consideration before implementing. The team is very mature about those decisions. Even when someone disagrees there are no hard feelings, but a sense of "disagree and commit", which is *very* positive, IMO.
Cons
Much of the code is developed in-house for many years, so it's not expected to have the newest backend framework running.
