Don’t Work For The Marketing Department!

Pros

The pay is fine, but I rather work in a healthy environment.

Cons

This is my opinion: The Elkhart marketing department is by far the most toxic work environment I have ever seen in my entire career. Employees are mistreated and highly stressed. Management is passive. The turnover is extremely high. HR gives management a “pass” when it comes to handling conflict. I am honestly suprised that management has not been fired yet. The president will not do anything about the sensitive issues and chooses to be passive as well. I genuinely hope for Juan Vargues and the global ownership of Dometic to read this and launch a full investigation into the leadership of Dometic Elkhart.

Pros

Coworkers are fun and it might pay your bills if your lucky

Cons

Rude and disrespectful Supervisors and group leaders, TERRIBLE insurance, Office staff sucks, pay is FAR from great, takes YEARS to get a decent amount of vacation, vacation check for a week is under half of what you normally make, they have a union but don't waste your time joining it, ALWAYS under staffed so your constantly doing more than one job at a time, VERY controlling environment, VERY LITTLE holiday time off, cant seem to keep up with orders or parts so some days your standing around and cant do anything, there is no bonus for hitting rate
