No place for a career

Pros

To be honest, for a first job, it wouldn't be a bad place to get experience. Benefits are bare bones and be sure to get any promise in writing,

Cons

Nasty place to work. Don't think about a promotion unless you are a white male and raises for the working class are capped at 3%. Managers openly joke with employees about firing them.

Pros

It was work and that is always better than unemployment. But they laid off thousands of workers in 2008-2009

Cons

Underpay their employees. Expect more than they are willing to pay for.

Pros

Talented collegues Most upper management will leave you alone since they don't understand technology Nice office - too bad they restrict resources Coffee is free (but bad) Used to be a decent company until all the print people took over - long on opinions, short on knowledge

Cons

Miopic understanding of technology by leadership Will only invest enough to accomplish the bare minimum (and then relies on its employees to do the rest by working at home on their own time and own equipment) Thinks being a team player is giving up your personal time to get your job done because of staffing cuts, and then rewards you by taking away 5 paid work days and labels them as "unpaid days off" Suppresses ideas and innovations and refers to its IT staff as production
