Pros

Very cooperative and understanding when you need sick time or have to leave early to pick up your kid or take classes. Supervisors do not micro-manage generally (at least if you work with IT). Benefits are comparable to other large companies (Cigna health ins HMO or PPO, Vangaurd 401K w/ 4% matching, life ins., flexible spending acct for medical and daycare, vision and dental). Great place to start a career and build up your skills, or if you value a positive work environment over pay.

Cons

Salary is on the low end in comparison to other companies.

Pros

The ability to wrap yourself in mediocrity. Other than that, the benefits are "ok". Also an acceptable place to work if you are searching for a job out of college and need to learn about the frustrations of working for a bloated archaic giant.

Cons

Complete lack of foresight into industry trends and having executive management that has ascended from middle management through the Good Ol Boys club. The severe lack of people of action is astonishing, and they seem to make decisions by NOT making decisions. They have amazing potential to dominate the space but refuse to listen to the ideas that bubble up to senior management.

Dominion offers a great benefit package, and seems to value a work/home balance.

Cons

For those that do not work in the home office there seems to be very little opportunity to advance.
