Pros

The low folks on the employment ladder at this company are some of the best most genuine people you will meet. The benefits were slightly above average.

Cons

You will be fired for giving feedback. You will be assigned infinitely more work and have to fight tooth and nail for any compensation. You will be micromanaged and passive-aggressively belittled in slack and “impromptu” zooms. They claim to be a safe space for queer folks but have systematically reduced the number of queer folks in their roster. The ERGs are effectively non existent and run on automations. Frequent misgendering. Everything, actually everything is a popularity contest. They want you to be fun, but will call you unprofessional as soon as they want you out the door. Layoffs are constant, but they line the pockets of leadership with exuberant pay bands for some of the most useless people you will ever meet in their respective roles. Severance is LAUGHABLE. HR does something sketchy with every layoff and firing, like the employees don’t talk to each other.

Dutchie is going through rough times...

Pros

Remote flexibility was always great, and working in cannabis was a dope experience.

Cons

The executive leadership team does not care about the culture or their employees. They micromanage everything you do, and have an extreme lack of respect for anyone who they do not think has the ability to perform. But, even if you do perform, you still are not giving autonomy to do your job. All of the diverse leaders have been let go, and they continue to hire their "bros" from their networks without considering how this looks to the rest of the company. They've lost great talent, and will continue to do so. Also, there have been several rounds of layoffs since 2022, and still going. The severance packages are terrible, leaving employees without income in a market that is in shambles.
