Pros

Some of the people that are actually left after losing so many with extensive knowledge.

Cons

Poor upper management decisions. No longer ANY job security. I'll be shocked if more plants aren't closed in less than 5 yrs. Took away many of the benefits that we used to have. Upper Management will lie to you. Corporate doesn't care about good employees.

Pros

They have a nice walking path for employees and decent break room

Cons

Gossiping is what these people love to do for fun. Not lenient on anything - I was punished for being 30 seconds late to work even though there was hazardous weather. Every person in management is on an ego trip and extremely hot headed. Lastly, I found out that Dwyer only makes about 25% of their products - the rest are resale from China that they try their hardest to make look like their own and are able to not give any support to customers on them either. Stay away from this place.

Pros

Absolutely the most super friendly co-workers I have ever worked with. The facility is incredibly clean and comfortable. The medical benefits are wonderful and the pay is pretty good (not competitive with other companies by a long shot, but not the lowest in the area).

Cons

Poor management - very uninvolved in day to day operations, no clear goals, unrealistic targets set and Zero training. Zero. The overall opinion seems to be that everyone in the world is born knowing all they need to about Dwyer so there is no reason to provide even the most basic information to help you do your job. They stay short staffed so everyone is ridiculously over worked, over burdened and highly frustrated. Most of their methods are severely outdated and time consuming. I have never before been so busy and so mind-numbingly bored at the same time. This is 100% a 'Boys Club' and if you're not one of the outdated, stale 'Boys' then you have no voice. It's a shame - they have all of the ingredients to be a superb organization but they lack the know-how to correctly mix it all together.
