Pros
On my drive home, I had the chance to really reflect on the day, without distraction. What my take away was there appears to be an excellent team that shows commitment to the plant, employees and community. This is a company that will invest with a projected ROI, as I was shown some of the process improvements. I see and HR Team that is young in tenure with PACCAR but what seems to be a genuine desire to be a great team. I see a plant that is well organized with a good workforce. I am excited you went away for the temp to perm roles, as it does allow you to better compete for the employee base. I was most impressed with Larisa and her team, and how they want to partner with HR in a strategic way, on issues that may not necessarily be HR centric. They know that any actions taken by management can have an impact on the employees, and including HR during the planning stages allows for discussions how to minimize the impact to the employees, while maximizing the expected outcome.
Cons
There were really no dislikes. Facility and employees were very good.
