office politic ... u are working in engineering department of 400 people and another 300 people from HR ,finance and operators... no enough man power in the department ...

Internal technoloy is a joke. The company's biggest priority is creating new products not improving the processes, making your job harder that it should be.There's not room for advancement unless you befriend the right people. It's not what you know, but who you know. There is a great feel of separation between departments. The greater good of the customer is not a priority as everyone does more finger pointing verses resolving issues. The HR department is a joke and not there for the employees. There is always an uneasy feeling because the turn over rate is high and a position will be removed and renamed because they descided to "go in a new direction" so no one is safe. Your concerns are never addressed and in the end you find you were lied to from the beginning. I do not feel valued or respected.
