Pros

The sustainability mission of the company is admirable

Cons

Terrible Pay Terrible Culture Terrible "Leadership" Terrible Work/Life Balance No Opportunities for Advancement Terrible, Terrible, Terrible , Just Terrible. E Source has made 6+ acquisitions in the past 3-4 years resulting in a conglomerate of dysfunction. The former culture is dead, the current lifeblood of the company is the private equity firm pumping in $$, the future looks terrible for employees.

Pros

There are no pros to working at E Source. Private Equity bought this place about 2 years ago and it's been hacking and whacking ever since.

Cons

Senior leaders spent years building up company values and culture only to completely abandon them when they sold out to Private Equity. Middle management is supremely interested in pleasing those above them rather than advocating and supporting their direct reports. Recent promotions based almost entirely on favoritism and there is very little opportunity for advancement. Pay is some of the lowest in the industry and benefits are below average. I encourage everyone to look elsewhere for their employment.

Pros

Very little, but some employees are good people

Cons

Extremely stressful environment with very little support from management, management is truly unfamiliar with the effort it takes to get the job done right nor do they care what effort you've put into a project, benefits are lacking or non-existent, no room for advancement, management is dominated by white men, they gobble up smaller companies and fire their staff during pandemics, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. This company has no moral compass. Look elsewhere.
