      Pros

      You have the opportunity to learn a lot.

      Cons

      If E Source were a person it would be a middle school boy/girl of mediocre intelligence that's struggling to get ahead. In response to their struggle, they constantly tell the teacher about the other students in order to hold them back. That's what working at E Source is like. Fully agree with the other review from Nov 3rd, 2011.

      Constant acquisitions, layoffs, and no culture

      Pros

      The folks you interact on a day-to-day basis (not leadership) are smart and hard working. It is a remote-first company.

      Cons

      E Source has acquired a ton of companies in the past few years. They acquire, lay off some portion of the team (they’ll promise they won’t right away), and then do a terrible job of integrating. They also lay off legacy folks who have been there 10+ years without warning. There is no culture, no legacy E Sourcer has any power to say “yes” to any decision and the company is so poorly run it’s a bit sad. Pay is below market value. Everyone (myself included) is on the lookout for a new job.
