We work tons of overtime, upwards of 70 to 80 hours a week with little to no time off. Supervisors show a lot of favoritism towards certain employees. I get more respect from supervisors outside my department than I do from the supervisor in charge of my department. Supervisors can be demeaning and aggressive when talking to their employees, they make you feel like you're completely expendable no matter how long you've been there and your past performance. They have locked up all the necessary equipment to do your job such as tips to change the tips on the robots in the welding department where you used to be able to go in and get the stuff whenever you need it you now have to hunt down a weld tech just to get what you need at any given time. Some people really don't respect others here, I've experienced bad attitudes from some of the employees of other nationalities simply because they don't care for Americans or it seems. They say they have an open door policy but when I tried to bring up the supervisors treatment of myself and others it seemed to do nothing at all and the activity continued. They also expect massive amounts of production on machines that are constantly breaking down and do not pay attention to their downtime reports or so it seems because people are constantly getting slammed for low production despite the time spent down. We work so much our techs don't have time to fix the issues in the machines because they never stop running them long enough to find a fix and they end up jerry rigging everything so it only works while they need it to. Also you very rarely see upper management in on weekends most of the time they are only there during the week, and the only ones you constantly see are the plant manager and another gentleman whose position title is avoiding me.
