Pros

EAG Labs is an incredible company. They set out to be the most innovative and forward-thinking in the industry, and are executing on their vision with creativity and transparency. The company has a flat organizational structure, and management truly operates with an open door policy. The entire corporate team works together days, nights and the occasional weekend to continue driving improvement and innovation in every area. It's an exhilarating place to work for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments that push them to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to age-old problems. From my perspective, I don’t just work at a Lab, but an innovative medical center on the very cusp of new developments in the entire health industry.

Cons

I would be lying if I tried to pretend like EAG is perfect and there’s no downsides to working here. There are…. I just believe that the downsides, or “cons”, are subjective and unique to every single person. That’s not the case for every company by any means. Some companies are objectively bad, especially if management is out of touch or dictatorial. But since that isn’t the case at EAG, the only cons you’ll hear about are things that could be seen as “pros” to an entirely different person. From my perspective, I’ve found it hard to find a healthy work/life balance, but I’ve also had this issue at other companies I’ve worked at so it may say more about me than EAG. See my dilemma? If you’re reading these reviews to try to figure out whether or not to apply or accept a job here, my advice would be to go for it and see if it’s the right fit for you. If not, there’s no way it won’t at least be a valuable learning experience and a great stepping stone to wherever you’re headed next.

Thanks for your feedback! You stated it so well - any perceived "downsides" to any company are unique to the individual's needs. We are focused on being innovated and forward-thinking and have, in fact, put together an initiative to further our innovation process. I think you have described the culture well. We push for out of the box thinking in a demanding but respectful environment. And the flat organization means everybody can have a voice.

Pros

I really don’t know many people who can genuinely complain about working here. This is a very transparent company. What you see is what you get. There’s no worrying about being deceived. The job expectations are made clear from the very beginning. You may be asked to go above and beyond but never to the point where you’re being overworked.

Cons

Nothing to report here. Keep up the good work!

Pros

I left the company a few years ago because I wanted to see what else was out there. I haven’t found anything even close to as good as I had it at EAG. I’ve been considering reapplying for a few months now and I’m hoping a position is available. Fingers crossed!

Cons

I’d probably have more to put in this section if it was right after I left, but after the work experiences I’ve had in the past few years, EAG looks like the Holy Grail or the Garden of Eden of workplaces.
