Pros

The work environment at NanoLab Technologies is very professional. Respect is given but it’s expected back in equal measure. There’s no name calling, yelling, cursing or anything of that nature. Everyone is respectful of one another. That said, management has taken a firm but fair stance more than once when pushing a deadline. A great company overall.

Cons

Meeting customer expectations and all the struggles that come with it.

Healthy work / life balance

Cons

Work/life balance is a big one for me. I have 2 kids at home and while I want to make enough to give them a good life, I also want to be able to enjoy that life with them. There’s other things I like about working here, but the work/life balance is the biggest for me and I think other people considering jobs here should know that you’ll be able to have a life outside of your job working for this company.

Thank you. Although you listed this under "Cons", from reading your comments, I believe that you are saying that we DO offer worklife balance. We work hard to balance the professional and personal needs of our employees. Our supervisors work with employees to adjust, where possible, to meet the needs of our employees. This is where our multi-shift operation can be to someone's advantage; it helps meet the requirements of our customers AND our employees. This past year has been a challenging year, especially for working parents. I'm glad you were able to find the balance needed to make things work!

Small company with a family like feel. Competitive compensation when you compare it to what the rest of the industry is paying. I came on about four months ago as of the time of this writing and I’ve gained a ton experience in a short amount of time. It was a good move on my part to come work here.

Cons

Small time office politics. Nothing too bad.
