Pros

It's a job. Flexible hours sometimes. If people stay long enough you can become friends.

Cons

Company is in an unstoppable downward trend. Benefits are being cut, bonuses removed, salary increases non existent, experienced employees leaving in droves, continually hiring from the outside to fill positions that can be promoted from within. Definition of dead end job. Morale is shot.

I'm sorry that was your experience. This dates to prior to the acquisition by Eurofins and this business line has since moved over to Eurofins.

Pros

Great place to work if you are fresh out of college and looking for that first job. This place is a great opportunity to learn and get experience on a broad range of techniques and instruments.

Cons

They don't pay well at all, be ready to be low balled. Promotions are a rarity you will be working for the same pay for a while. A lot of the people who work here have no idea what they are doing from a scientific stand point.

Thanks for your comments. I'm sure that was an uncomfortable time for you. It is my understanding, as I've only been here since January 2020, that your group was moved to Eurofins. We recognized that your department was not a good fit to the core business of Materials Testing Services, and we hope that you are felling much more comfortable being part of Eurofins Agro?

I like the flexibility and the people I work with. I like that it is not always the same every day.

Cons

There is too much turnover and not enough senior people left to train. Not much in a pay raise especially when you just received more responsibility
