Products are usually market fits Front line colleagues are regular hard work people

Cons

1. Lack of foundational knowledge delays time-to-value (TTV). You must self-teach the product, extending your ramp time and distracting from selling. 2. The company can't reliably scale; product expertise is inconsistent and hard to transfer. Your success depends on finding a helpful veteran, which is a risk. 3. Management doesn't acknowledge the time needed to become productive. Financial pressure increases while you are struggling to learn the basics. 4. The primary engine for growth (pipeline generation) is broken. Forced into 100% cold-calling, even if the role was sold as partially inbound. 5. The company is prioritizing the appearance of a large pipeline over its quality. You risk starting with a zero-win track record because you have to "burn" junk deals. 6. Lack of trust and high risk of being next if you are unable to meet expectations due to systemic failures. High turnover, which makes organizational instability.
