      Needs more CEO engagement

      Pros

      Small company feel. Some great people at the local levels. Products are highly tailored to the customer's needs.

      Cons

      While some great people in the divisions, many long-time coasters as well. Need more who can drive and execute the needed changes. CEO should be more engaged in the day-to-day business and should take off his blinders (held on by those around him). CRO role adds no value. New comp plans are chasing good people away. GMs need more options to create incentives for their teams.

      Great Opportunity in Sales

      Pros

      I am in new system sales. I have read some reviews on here from salespeople. I wanted to add my two cents for balance. The quotas here are not unattainable. When you exceed those quotas (which I do) a salesperson can achieve a high total compensation number. On my quota of less than $1M in new sales, I have taken home nearly 1/3 of that in total compensation. In addition the company takes my wife and I on an all expenses paid trip each summer, if I hit my number. This year we are going to Rome, Italy! I have friends at other companies with $2M quotas who don't W2 what I make at Eci. Additionally their Sales Club trip is in Hilton Head South Carolina. I am in the top 1% of wage earners and ECi is not actively working against my success, on the contrary...I would have to own my own business to make more money that I do here.

      The Health Benefits could be better, as others have mentioned.

      Great company, great culture and a great track-record of success

      Pros

      Culture is awesome - people are aligned to goals and supportive. Communications are strong from senior management and senior management is very approachable. We have clearly defined mission, culture and goals which are embraced by the company. The company is a growth company and continues to hire and acquire.

      Cons

      There are still some in the business that are not high performers and need to be changed-out. There is also a high degree of change in the business, which you have to be comfortable with.
