Pros

Remote work. Not too many meetings. Good Scrum habits to a point. Friendly place.

Cons

Very old software. Test automation is just getting started. Management prefers divide-n-conquer to team work. It's not a safe place to ask many questions as they don't wish to grow people.

The operational employees are granted significant autonomy to lead initiatives, though these responsibilities are often assigned without sufficient resources or guidance. While the company fosters a positive culture, the challenge of balancing multiple tasks with limited support has likely fostered strong bonds among employees. There is a general absence of micromanagement from leadership, allowing individuals the freedom to manage their work in their own way. for 6 seconds Operational employees are granted significant autonomy to lead key initiatives, although these efforts are sometimes undertaken without sufficient resources or guidance. Despite these challenges, the company culture is notably positive, with the shared experience of managing demanding workloads fostering strong team bonds. Leadership adopts a hands-off approach, allowing employees the freedom to determine the most effective methods to achieve their objectives.

Cons

Frequent management turnover has created an environment where leadership tends to attribute product setbacks to employee shortcomings, despite challenges arising from insufficient resources and support. Constant changes in leadership often result in a lack of empathy and a disconnect from the operational teams responsible for delivering successful products. As a consequence, highly capable and dedicated employees are dismissed rather than being redeployed into roles where their expertise could significantly contribute to the organization’s success. None/ rare internal promotion.

Cons

No career development related communications for employees. Pattern of eliminating positions, downsizing, with no plans in place for absorbing the work left behind. Unrealistic workloads. Disorganized; constant process changes. Inefficient processes and internal systems.
