Friendly work environment, remote work

Cons

Huge gender pay gaps exist for women with the same title and level of experience as male peers. Salary well below market rates for long-term employees--new hires are brought on at much higher rates. Little to no opportunities for growth and advancement for non-leadership positions. Severely lacking in developmental product support.

A company, not a family as it claims to be.

Pros

Members of your team and direct leaders are ok and at times great. Very good diversity of employees from different backgrounds.

Cons

There's a large number of posts I believe are fake to try and up the scores. Many employees end up being hired, then fired (made redundant) within a year. A clear sign of bad planning and direction. Employees don't get a say in the direction of the business, and as a result, there's a constant fear that anyone at anytime could get let go without being given a proper explanation, regardless of your performance or history with the company. This negatively impacts productivity. Top management talks about open communication, but that's just lip service. "change of strategy" is not open communication at all. Letting groups of people go before having a transition plan is not good practice. It leaves too many gaps and very negatively impacts our relationships with customers who trust us less. Competitors use this as ammo to speak bad about us.

Pros

The flexibility to help with life matters and great team members.

Cons

Poor training and support for staff directly assisting customers. The support structure doesn't fit the business needs for their customers leaving them waiting weeks for a phone call. Then the specialist has to not only help with the issue but deal with a cranky person due to the response time.
