      decent workplace despite recent company hardships (layoffs, economy)

      Pros

      Good health benefits ( vision, dental, health, 401k ) , generally great people , smart / helpful engineers and managers , management tries it's best to be transparent , Guy ( the CEO ) stresses this often . free soda and coffee . bagels every last Friday of the month =)

      Cons

      lean IT staff , difficult to get new computer equipment , work doesn't seem very fast-paced , several recent layoffs or people moving on by choice have decreased morale among employees . difficulty in forecasting our business makes for some surprises during earnings reporting season ( see Oct 07 and Jan 08 )

      Benefits, location, good people, very interesting projects. Pretty decent fitness center.

      Cons

      Stock plans not worth much. Low bonus. Global market for print server products is shrinking.

      Pros

      A working technology that has a good customer base all over the world. Smart peers, and good facilities at work.

      Cons

      Room for growth is limited because the technology has somewhat saturated. New avenues to expand the company are being thought of a lot, but other than an acquisition recently there is nothing much to show as new stuff.
