Good starting point for an engineer's career
Pros
The culture here is great and everyone I work with is very kind and easygoing. There is a clear advancement path, however I can't say how well advancement opportunities arise since I have only been here for about a year. Regardless, management does make it known that they want you to improve and advance up the ladder. There is also decent communication and feedback from management about your performance. The work isn't too technical and not overly demanding most of the time. The benefits are decent, and I particularly loved working from home and the quick PTO accumulation.
Cons
The base salary is very, VERY lackluster. While the work can often very basic in nature, there's a ton of it and you will be constantly busy, and that business carries all the way up the ladder so sometimes management can be unavailable when needed. Overtime isn't necessarily required, but may be indirectly expected due to volume of work. Some jobs that may come your way can end up becoming complicated and stressful. The position leans more towards project management rather than engineering, and it felt like my engineering skills aren't tested very thoroughly. There is not much room for creativity when solving problems in projects, as the process is very rigid and well-defined already.
