Pros

Director and staff supervisor have created a family within the team that has truly cultivated a work culture that supports each other and commits to “ having each other’s back “ when struggling for any reason. My direct Supervisor works in whatever area needs more support, takes out time to offer our team extra guidance , extra training since there is very little from corporate, listens, and follows through while always advocating for us when needed. I love our community of patients and we are always getting direct feedback from them regarding how impressed they are that we have staff that are so genuinely invested in their care.

Cons

Went through a lot of turn around and employees became so burnt out from having no staff. Some of us were constantly working doubles and putting in over 20 hours a week of overtime. Health depleted. We were able to stick together as a team but corporate is not very understanding and has no clue how hard some of us work and how little a few do. They can be very rude and unreasonable. Pay is not very good which is why people get lazy but there’s always room for over time. Some staff can be very unprofessional . Our building is falling apart , we need a lot of updates and we constantly have issues with our equipment.

All about the money and keeping the beds full

Pros

Salary, benefits, PTO racks up quickly (but you'll use it because you'll be so sick of working there)

Cons

They don't care about their employees, lack of adequate training, little to no work/life balance, unsafe working conditions, keeping the beds full at any cost, violent patients never discharged
