Pros

Company provides everything for work. I had new car, fuel card, purchase credit card, smartphone, laptop, gear and a lot of latest test equipment. Good benefits: health insurance, 401K, paid overtime, 2 weeks vacation.

Cons

Management in San Diego office was incompetent and didn't know how to find good projects and just paid much attention to administrative functions like office setting, warehouse or office supplies. The same situation with employees, they couldn't hire good professionals. So we just tested circuit breakers and some another simple tests like groundig, no relay testing, no commissioning on substations and traveled a lot to Las Vegas office, LA area just to test some breakers.

Biggest mistake of my life!

Pros

There were some good people that I had the pleasure to work with.

Cons

Working for this company was the worst mistake of my life. The work environment is unprofessional and immature. The management lies to get what they want. Lie to cover their inability to lead. I experienced the most unethical treatment during my year there. There is strong favoritism that plays a part in the ridiculous inner office politics. It distracts from hard working people who just want to do a good job. It is also a family owned business so any advancement is not going to happen. It is essentially a dead end job. I would strongly caution anyone considering working for this company.

Poor Company to work for

Pros

Nothing good to say and that is bad. One should be able to say one good thing at least about a company that they worked for.

Cons

Managers in place that should not be. Team work a joke, Try getting paid for expenses and you get half back if that. Office politics is the worst I have ever seen. Owner does not stand by his word. Company has you travel and work 60 hours but only pays striaght time no time and a half. Very few NETA 3 TESTERS and less then a hand full of NETA 4 TESTERS. Project managers are a joke, they had one that held ever contracter to the letter but office politics got him. Stay away if you want to keep your mind.
