Pros

Great people, awesome exposure to clients, field, company resources, senior management, designers, and a diverse range of services offered to clients.

Cons

As with any corporate job the work life balance is not great. Especially in this industry. Not necessarily a mark against Epstein just the way they have to be to in order to stay competitive in this market.

Pros

- Good people - Interesting, challenging projects - West Loop location

Cons

- High turnover (35% this year) - Interdepartmental politics - Leadership vacuum - Sub par benefits Turnover was always a major problem for Epstein but it got progressively worse in recent years. There are a lot of factors but the bottom line is that the company will continue to die off slowly until there is a major change in leadership. The way the company operates is dysfunctional and unsustainable. Talented, passionate people get squeezed out like a sponge. Most projects end with client and/or contractor conflict, including lawsuits.

We're sorry that Epstein wasn't the right fit for you. We know that we are not perfect and we are constantly looking at ways to improve. As a company approaching our 100th anniversary, we've definitely had our ups and downs. We look forward to making significant improvements that ensure the health and prosperity of our firm in the years to come.
