      Great place to work, lots of interesting projects/people

      Pros

      Interestng projects, amazing co-workers, great growth potential for highly motivated people, solid PM and leadership training.

      Cons

      Invasive global bureaucracy management, work-life balance must be driven by employee otherwise company will take advantage. Pay is lower than market by design with "bonuses" as inticement. Bonuses are minimal until Partner level is achieved. Extreme pressure put on billability and selling more work.

      Pros

      ERM has a wide range of clients that will give you lots of experiences in different sectors. Lots of opportunities to travel. Caring CEO. Older employees who stay more than a quick stint are a wealth of knowledge and so helpful. Easy to move around. Lots of respected experts in the field.

      Cons

      If the business isn’t doing well the lower you are on the totem pole the more blame and punishment you feel as senior leadership scramble. New North American CEO in large meetings has made negative and demeaning comments about younger staff members. The hiring practices are not uniform. I was told at hire vacation time was non-negotiable, (it is 2 weeks and barely any holidays) I worked with many people who came in maxed out or at 3 weeks. You live or die by UB. Diversity are young and developing, unusual for a firm of this age.

      Interesting work, impossible expectations, low pay

      Pros

      -The ability to work on interesting projects for big name clients -Gained experience in many areas -My supervisor and the partners I worked with were very supportive

      Cons

      -Expectations are insanely high (~95% billable and have to find your own work) -Pay and bonuses are way below industry standard -Project managers often dont allot enough time to complete work properly -401k Match and bonuses removed for Covid
