ESS reviews about "training"

HR Management is completely terrible and degrades their own employees whenever they feel something is off. HR management does not care about their employees and would rather listen to the schools instead of their employees as well. They have too high expectations when the training is subpar and lacks real use in the classroom environment.

Not much training with on-boarding.

The pay and benefits aren’t great, not something that’s feasible for long term career growth. Sometimes you are assigned to certain tasks you may not have the training for.

Very little communication with contracted substitute teachers. They've never solicited feedback about employers or offered PD training opportunities (that I know of).

Not a lot of incentives. Limited surrounding district opportunities in my area. Lacks training opportunities outside of initial orientation.

Pay needs to be better. Some jobs take more out of you than others and you should be compensated accordingly. No real training. Once hired, you basically figure everything out on your own.
