Different company since the EVERSANA Buyout

Pros

Good experience, the possibility to be assigned on a pleasant and capable team, ability to work remote (although EVERSANA is quickly moving away from that)

Cons

It is genuinely sad what this company has turned into since EVERSANA took over. When I was first hired back when it was still Intouch and Faruk was the CEO, this place was like a dream come true--benefits that rivaled Google, above average pay, a great work-to-life balance as far as agencies go, free mental health resources, the ability to move up the ladder, and most importantly, the feeling of being truly valued by your company. It felt like in a blink of an eye all of that changed when EVERSANA took over. They immediately gutted our benefits and took everything away that made this place feel special. Work-life balance is out the window, if you aren't 100% billable they lose their minds. It puts tremendous pressure on every team and many people have grown accustomed to regular 14-hour days. Raises and promotions were both frozen. Layoffs galore. Intouch hired hundreds if not thousands of people as remote workers, but now EVERSANA is moving away from that and requiring people to meet in-office which has all of the remote workers worried about their future here. I'm curious what turnover has looked like since the buyout. I will not be staying here. I encourage anyone applying to look elsewhere, there are better agencies out there who value their employees far more.

Beware The Merger

Pros

The team I work with is filled with excellent professionals who are great human beings. I have enjoyed collaborating and getting to know them. Good work/life balance.

Cons

The merger has forced the company to prioritize everything except a salary increase, a promotion, dedication to unlimited PTO, remote work. Within my first year of working, I was told "We don't speak of salaries", which is the first big red flag I experienced. Rounds of layoffs have already started, without rewarding employees with the bare minimum, and rising expectations. HR is nonexistent—Hard to get ahold of them, and if you do it's through a portal, which, good luck getting a response within days (or one at all). Overall, the company is not the same company I applied to. I accepted a job for a remote position, unlimited PTO and the understanding that there was mobility. I am now working a job with expectations of returning to the office, billability being a source of fear and 2 years without a promotion or raise.

The worst job I've ever had

Pros

-Decent pay -Unlimited PTO (even though they're trying to put limits on it or punish you if you actually take it) -There are good teams, but they're hard to come by

Cons

-Extremely stressful - you're expected to be 100% billable -Management is not good. Very passive aggressive and not interested in mentoring younger talent -Communication internally is a mess -People are often set up to fail and there seems to always be a perpetual scapegoat -Morale is currently really low, a lot of the perks that made this place great are being cut -The more toxic a person is, the more they seem to get ahead
