      Good place for a newer engineer

      Pros

      The company secures large, interesting contracts so there is always something exciting going on. Management trusts you to get your work done on your own without needless supervision. IT resources are top-notch. Very professional company.

      Cons

      Pay and benefits are average at best. You get the feeling that senior management has no idea what the day-to-day of their employees is like.

      Pros

      Flex work schedule Pay is pretty good

      Cons

      Management is AWFUL! Turn over is high because there is NO mentoring or guideness in what to do. Business is going down because the lack of quality in work since no one is teaching entry level engineers what to do. Work loads can be slow for months. No work to do but keep hiring new people.

      Pros

      -Work with a great group of people. -Jobs are challenging and interesting. -Technology wise they try to stay current. -Multiple offices, so opportunity to transfer between offices.

      Cons

      -The company runs lean. While this is not a bad thing, expect to live at the office if there are major deadlines. -No bonuses. -If you are salaried....be ready to work extra hours and not get paid for it. -Company is very disorganized with all the mergers. Management is out of touch with what goes on day-to-day. -Not much of an opportunity for advancement. Management has tracks set up, but there is little support.
