Best place I have ever worked.

Pros

The HR department is one of the best that I have ever had the opportunity to work with. They work hard to take care of the employees and seem to be in touch with what is really going on. The company management is great with lots of vision to take the company to new places and the execution mindset to get it done. The Technology department, while understaffed, is helpful and willing to do what's needed to get the job done. The Security team is also one of the best that I have ever had the opportunity to work with. They are professional, business minded, and are always able to help other departments reach their goals in a secure manner. The company in general is very security engaged and is proactive about protecting employees, data, and intellectual property. The company also has what seems to be a zero tolerance for security related violations. A good number of employees have been fired after violating security policy and procedure. Mis-step once, and you will be stepping out of the door with your things in a box. This is a pro considering what this company has to protect. If you cannot deal with a high security environment this is not the company for you. There is lots of opportunity to grow with in the company and it seems that a vast majority of the employees have been on staff for 5 or more years. Early Warning also does a great job trimming the excess when it comes to employees who are not willing to commit to goals and who are a hinderance to the overall health of the company and environment. No slackers here... The culture is laid back enough that employees are able to engage each other in a social environment yet maintain professional mannerisms. The work is fun and challenging with the rewarding factor of knowing you are helping to fight financial fraud in the financial industry.

Cons

These may be cons for some and pros for others: Work is extremely fast paced and non-stop demanding. If you want to sit back and cruise through a career this is not the place for you. Those who took this path were not happy and are no longer with the company.

Pros

Good people in some departments and additional benefits people take for granted. (Free coffee, tea and concierge services) Some good aspects include company growth (as opposed to employee growth and promotion ability) Good place to become silo-ed when doing a good job and delivering results

Cons

Slow career growth discouraging to staff members Inconsistent executive and technical security management (My way or highway experience) Questionable integrity in statements and objectives by the same Distrusting and an unwillingness to change exists Recognition for people who go above and beyond appears to be limited
