You are encouraged to be proactive and to be a leader. There is a lot of room to learn and grow and you get to work with a great team of environmentalists.

Cons

Small physical location they need more room to grow.

Pros

There is a lot of flexibility with the types of projects you want to work on. You can tailor your internship experience to create a worthwhile experience for yourself. The work environment is friendly and the staff is friendly whenever I had questions.

Cons

Some of the work can be tedious and parking is not free. It would be nice if there was a public transportation reimbursement as the internship was unpaid.

Fun group of interns.

Cons

This is a really disorganized company. The onboarding process was a disaster, little to no guidance was provided for new interns, and the senior staff seemed deeply unhappy and hostile. Would not recommend interning here at all. For an unpaid internship, it's just not worth it.
