All competent staff pushed out by inexperienced management with little to no background in education. Focused only on rapid expansion.

Good Intentions, Poor Execution

Pros

Very hard working employees, great mission, organization expanding to support the needs of families.

Cons

Unhappy work environment: employees are micromanaged, senior leadership does not invest in employees or care about employee development, lack of mobility, lack of transparency, very high staff turnover.

Nice young staff Sometimes given food

PIPS (performance plan ) given at END OF THE YEAR Allowing staff to remain even after 20 absences Differing opinions Long hours, months, and school year (and the same time as DOE) PD starts early in August. (6) Discrimination and sexism (male teachers are unicorns, don’t bother giving them any consequences)
