Eccalon reviews

Eccalon's management is full of people who are either incompetent or disingenuous and dishonest. They can't do the basics correctly, such as onboard new hires or compensate people for expenses in a timely manner. They have a "discretionary time off" policy that forces you to take vacation days for federal holidays (even when working as a contractor for the federal government). Their retirement plan forces you to wait five years for full vesting. And to top it all off, when they do a poor job performing on a contract and don't have their option year renewed, they will tell you to do what's best for you and your family, then take legal action that prevents you from taking a new job to work on the same contract at a different company.

No culture, no support, sand-shifting benefits, terrible 401K, "Discretionary" time off (accrued time off is not paid back), no federal holidays when supporting the federal government, and no interest in my actual work, progress, or growth. Did not pay the recruitment bonus they promised, and refused to pay for any software or hardware, or professional development (training) without owing significant (and unreasonable) time back, i.e. 4 days of funded training means 18 months of contract commitment to them.
