Pros

Great people to work with, can build lifelong friendships. Many tools and resources are provided to be successful.

Cons

Saturated company in a saturated industry. If you are a carrier sales rep you are competing against 500+ other people within your company, aside from the numerous other brokerages through the U.S. you're competing with. Takes a lot of hard work and even more luck. Integration with Command Transportation has also shown clear differences in company culture

Pros

I am positive things are different at the corporate location. Employees seem properly trained there, and often post pics on social websites of the fun things they do there.

Cons

I'm not at corporate. I'm at a satellite site that corporate has never visited. I've been here for years, and had no clue who my HR rep is. After reaching out to corporate for 2 weeks straight, I received a phone call from our HR partner. Despite being told of things that could potentially leave my manager with a misdemeanor, HR still has not made an appearance to our location. We have witnessed top performing sales reps get fired or walk away from our location. HR'S reaponse is that they work for the manager.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review, and want you to know our HR team is here to support all employees across all levels and branches. We realize there are differences between Corporate and Branch locations which is why we work to foster an environment where everyone can be heard and feel connected. We encourage you to reach out to HR to get in contact with your business partner to discuss further.

Pros

No one micromanage. That's it.

Cons

Management lies to you during the interview. Dont believe it when they say they are committed to the long haul. They doubled our sales goals overnight. 80% of seasoned brokers who make alot of money have quit. The new employees struggle and rarely make quota now that corporate raised it. The new culture uses new reps to source leads and then fires them. The environment is noisy and roudy and unprofessional. New people seem scared when they see how hard it is. When it comes to the Command merger, they'll rip accounts you've been working on right out from underneath you. The young ones talk about smoking pot all the time and watch movies on their computer. Management doesn't care. Churn is probably 70%. If you need a placeholder this is great but not long term. If you get on, keep looking.

I’m sorry to hear you didn’t feel informed during your interview process about what this job entails. We work hard to be able to provide transparency during everyone’s interview, as we know this job is tough and can be a grind. With a major acquisition there are always growing pains however with any changes to accounts, we have informed any sales rep involved and found the best possible solution for our employees as well as the company. During the interview process candidates get a glimpse of day to day in the sales role, and while you’re right, this can be a noisy environment; we expect and maintain professionalism for all our employees.
