Pros

Interesting work and good co-workers. Flexible shift hours.

Cons

Poor benefits. Company expects to be able to contact employees at all times even when sick or on vacation. There are no exceptions. Company has an open door policy, but several co-workers seem to have been let go for making access of it.

Pros

Except for the occasional overtime due to on-call status, a 40-hr work week is the expected norm.

Cons

Lots of cons - #1) Overall the company has no focus, overarching goals, and/or direction other than to "keep doing what we are doing" If there are any, the Executives keep their plans hidden so that no one else knows what to focus on. #2) In absence of direction, middle management takes it upon themselves to build fiefdoms. If you are stuck under a manager who has no technical foresight, you will stagnate. #3) Pay is subpar and benefits are poor. Overall - stay away.

Pros

-Great co-workers. -Won't get in trouble if you hide from managements witch hunts. -Work/Life balance is ok.

Cons

-Merged with dish which cut its mediocre benefits plan down to the BARE minimum of ACA. 1/4 of previous. -Management has no clue about daily operations, only numbers on paper and whats reported to them. -The less you stick your neck out the less you will get cased over. -Completely ignores employee ideas for workflow improvement. -Zero upward advancement opportunity, your stuck at only horizontal career moves. -A guy got employee of the month 2x, was let go a month after. -For a company that pulls in multi millions in revenue they keep salaries lowest of the all competetors. -Now under dish, go read their glassdoor.
