The first thing is that the positive reviews that keep coming up on this company are clearly written by managers or the marketing team. I don't know anyone at the company who truly feel that positive about working there! The changes that were recently made were not positive. They took a strong company in Study Island and basically destroyed it in many ways. They increased prices 50% and are no longer customer centric. My salary and others were dramatically decreased, and then the explanation is that we can't sell under the new rules, it's not their comp plan. When it was across the board it is clearly the comp plan. The new management are extreme micro managers. They watch everything you do and are hovering all the time. You get to clock in and out like you are being babysat and some people even have to clock in and out for bathroom breaks. There were also hard working people who were very supportive of the company and they were recently laid off without warning. They were told they would get jobs in other departments and most didn't. There is really no job security for anyone. As soon as your sales are not good you will be on an improvement plan and be let go. It doesn't matter what's going on in your territory. It will fall on you. The final thing is to look clearly at the positive reviews. They clearly are written by management and are not true at all. I'm sure after this one appears there will be some positive ones written to push mine to the bottom of the list.
