This environment is so insidious. Lure you in with “perks” and “benefits” and masquerades like a progressive and diverse company but it’s all the same. If you’re not in a director or executive position, forget about getting any kind of respect or consideration or recognition. I’ve worked in entertainment and somehow have come across more toxic personalities and inflated egos at Edmunds. The main reason i stay is for the ability to work from home and unlimited PTO. They essentially keep you trapped with these benefits and think that’s enough to treat people like garbage.
