Pros

- completely hands off - pay you reliably - excellent on-line calendar based system to schedule jobs - required training is on-line and easy to do - adding districts is easy

Cons

- no idea who my supervisor is - no feedback - pay stubs are extremely sketchy - minimal benefits - only get paid if you work - no idea reason for cancellation if one occurs

Thank you for your feedback. Due to the part-time nature of the work, substitute teaching does not have the same benefits as a full-time position. However, your work is extremely valuable to the students and staff in the districts where you serve. As your employer, we are always in talks with our partnering districts to increase pay and implement bonus programs. If you have any other concerns, please call customer service at (877) 974-6338.

Pros

Pick your own schedule. Heath insurance available (good luck affording it) Easy to find work on a daily basis.

Cons

Health insurance is expensive and it's not easy to find a provider. Also the insurance doesn't cover some routine testing. Pay raises are infrequent at best. The first time rates were raised since 2013/2014 school year was the 2016/2017 school year.
