Pros

Excellent opportunities for hands-on learning and professional development. Work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and major clients. Smart and collaborative colleagues who are very knowledgeable. Management is generally supportive of career growth and training.

Cons

The IT support team can sometimes be difficult to reach, leading to slower response times. There also seems to be an inconsistency in equipment allocation, where some new hires receive current laptops while the other few new members, like me, got allocated with older models. Resolving hardware issues often requires persistent follow-up, which can impact productivity.

Pros

Leadership at SpringML before becoming Egen and some of the Leads in Salesforce Practice at India still are very supportive to the team, encouraging and guiding the team on the right path.

Cons

I was with Egen/SpringML for 6 years, it used to be really good as SpringML but after merger with Egen the leadership change impacted everything especially Salesforce Practice. The leadership is not showing any interest in growing the Salesforce practice and asking/letting the senior and the talented people who contributed for the company growth to leave. There is no dedicated Sales team for Salesforce practice, only the existing Customers are continued and those projects are also closing recently with no scope for any new projects. It is not at all safe to be on bench and there is no retention for any senior or junior resources leaving the company. The leads on the Salesforce Practice at India are good and trying to protect the Practice trying all the possible ways to extend or expand the current projects and encouraging the team to get cross skilled and ensuring the team gets billable utilization on the projects on GCP practice. But they are help less in situations as they are not getting the support required to grow the practice from the higher leadership. After Egen merger, there is no focus on Salesforce practice growth and has seen more than 50% of the team leave. There is no proper framework for Job promotions, salary packages, whoever are good with some of the heads and always praise them gets pay hikes and promotions. An intern can become a Manager in 6 years with promotions every year by developing rapport with the heads, and 12 year remains a Manager for years if they fails to maintain that relation with the heads, the contribution to the company and skills are not considered. We have to work supporting multiple clients parallelly extending the hours and work late hours still because of the Practice business not growing the hikes/promotions will not happen.
