      Pros

      This company has nothing to do with the elderly, and in fact has many young employees. The eponymous Elder Research is named for John Elder who is a tremendous teacher, a brilliant person and also kind, as are the folks who work there. John is a thought leader in his field

      Cons

      The owner has a tendency to get some new great ideas for research shortly before client presentations making for a scramble for the staff preparing the presentation.

      Great place to learn and work on many variety of projects. I learned a great deal in a short amount of time. Also, the people are very caring, professional, talented and enjoyable to work with

      young, bright people; informal working atmosphere; don't have to start working early; personable business owner

      Cons

      sometimes feels more like a graduate school department than a business (for better and for worse); food at social events can be just wraps; health benefits etc can be delayed and you can be asxked to be an independent contractor
