Pros

Incredible campus with huge built in perks to keep your friends and family jealous when you show them where you work. On-site gym, game store, arcade, Starbucks, and two cafeterias. The people making the game, specifically the artists and programmers, are mostly good-hearted, hard working people.

Cons

Terrible creative atmosphere. Everyone is worried about their position and security so no true selflessness and teamwork really formulate. The people in charge care about the bottom line and very little else. Hierarchy and bureaucracy completely dominate in this company, when there should be a greater focus on the art and tech and changing the company culture for allowing it's employees to flourish.

Pros

You learn A LOT Free games Great campus Child care! Child care! Child care!

Cons

The most backstabbing, non-supportive place on the planet. The staff spends so much time covering their back it's amazing any work gets done. Incredibly immature people, leading to unnecessary politics.

Don't Work For SWTOR

Pros

Set schedule, Set Days, Low Work Flow

Cons

Stressed start up culture in SWTOR. The rest of the company is stressed since changing to CBR and they have more stress around schedules, but the availability to move up is much more open because of the amount of games supported. There is a huge fault in the way information is communicated by the SWTOR higher ups, and our team is often kept out of the loop on most everything. It is such a different environment from the rest of EA. It's bitter and disappointing.
