      I love to work here but it’s so close to home .

      Pros

      CEO is transparent , always send us his memo by email regarding the financial stability of the hospital, goals and strategic plans. Benefits are excellent , medical , dental , vision plans and their matching 401 K.

      Cons

      Lack of communications in workplace among departments. No teamwork among supervisors and staff employees. Workload is too much due to inadequate staffing . HR is very slow in hiring and gives low pay salary compared with neighboring hospitals although they said that they are , can’t hardly recruit. Employees not happy with their directors . Too many positions in the higher management that are unnecessary. Building connections is not being practice , lack of respect and gossips among individuals.

      Pros

      Decent benefits. Average pay for the San Gabriel Valley. Some departments have great teamwork.

      Cons

      Management, particularly administration, talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. $$$ is the only thing that means anything to them - as in NOT SPENDING money. Administration promotes "building connections," but they do nothing to build connections with the departments or staff. There was a time at Citrus Valley that administration knew every staff member by name. So many of the great leaders and department heads have been "laid off" (a nice word for terminated) or have chosen to leave on their own that there is very little support and nobody in management knows your name. It used to be a great place to work. Sadly, not anymore.

      I have worked for several hospitals for the past 20+ years and i must say that CVHP is the best place to work. They promote good rapport, management always speak with respect. i cannot say enough good things about CVIP. I THANK THE LORD EVERYDAY FOR GIVING ME THIS JOB!

      i have nothing negative to say about this company. i wish them all the best through the coming years.
