Pros

As a flight instructor at Embry-Riddle there was never a lack of students or work. There was also many attractive benefits like free school as a full time flight instructor.

Cons

Some cons were long days at little pay, but the flight time was worth it for building hours to move on to another job or move up in management.

Pros

The Daytona Beach campus is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. The people are friendly and make a tight knit group. Students, alumni, staff and faculty are great supporters of each other.

Cons

Money at the school is limited for workers and staff. The school like any other has many projects funded through grants which means there is never a guarantee for work. The departments are mostly staffed with adjunct professors to save money. Faculty positions are rare, but do pay more.
