      Slow to change, old tech stack, little room to grow

      Decent enough Health benefits, and employee matching in 403b Easy worklife balance

      Cons

      There was little room to grow in the department I worked in, so basically need to be mindful of that. Older management, made it harder to change the tech stack we were using too. They were talking about changing tech stacks before I worked there, and it never materialized.

      Good benefits and decent wages, plus meaningful employment for those concerned about public health

      Cons

      Job quality varies a lot from department to department. Higher-ups take a very long time to approve necessary budget expansions, so being under-staffed and over-worked is not uncommon.

      Pros

      The work schedule is flexible at times depending on the amount of patients you have.

      Cons

      There is no support at Winship. The work load is to heavy and the expectations are unrealistic. The turn over is extremely high and there is no upper level accountability. This place is a revolving door. I recommend just getting the experience and leave. It is very stressful and the pay is too low for what you do here.
